Of course if Edwards doesn’t see the Boston-based group set up their multiclub model there remains a slight risk that he will be attracted by a challenge elsewhere.</p><p>We’ve seen links to Saudi Arabia for example and earlier this week it emerged that <a href="https://www.footballtransfers.com/nl/transfernieuws/nl-eredivisie/2025/11/ajax-ziet-deur-wagenwijd-open-gaan-voor-toptalent-door-komst-edwards">he was under consideration by Ajax</a> for a technical director role.</p><p>The Amsterdam giants are enduring a crisis season - currently under caretaker management by Fred Grim.</p>)
