Manchester United forward Ethan Wheatley has been recalled from his loan spell at Northampton Town. Wheatley scored three goals in 25 appearances for the Cobblers and is expected to go out on loan elsewhere for the second half of the season. The 19-year-old, who signed a contract to 2028 in March 2025, had a loan spell in League Two with Walsall last term, but featured only four times for the Saddlers.
