The police commission in East Haven, Conn., voted Tuesday night to urge the mayor to fire the police chief amid allegations that the department abused Latinos. Chief Leonard Gallo announced his retirement earlier this week, but the commission doesn't think Gallo should be able to cash-in on his retirement package.
